National standard grade

TA0: Belonging to industrial pure titanium, it has good corrosion resistance and certain strength, with relatively low impurity content. It is commonly used in special occasions that require high material purity, such as high-end electronics, chemical and other fields.

TA1: It is also industrial pure titanium, with slightly higher strength than TA0, good toughness and welding performance. It has a wide range of applications in aerospace, chemical, medical and other fields, such as hydraulic system pipelines for aircraft manufacturing, corrosion-resistant pipelines in chemical equipment, and some components in medical equipment.

TA2: One of the widely used grades of industrial pure titanium, it has moderate strength and corrosion resistance, good comprehensive performance, and can be used to make pipelines for equipment such as heat exchangers, condensers, evaporators, etc. It has a large number of applications in industries such as petrochemicals, power, and seawater desalination.

TA9: It usually contains a small amount of palladium element and has excellent corrosion resistance, especially in some highly corrosive media such as high temperature and high concentration acidic solutions. It is commonly used in industries such as chemical and pharmaceutical industries that require extremely high corrosion resistance.

TA10: The main alloying elements are molybdenum and nickel, which have further improved corrosion resistance and strength, and can work stably in corrosive environments such as seawater and chloride for a long time. They are widely used in fields such as marine engineering and shipbuilding, such as seawater cooling system pipelines for ships and oil and gas pipelines for offshore platforms.

TC4: This is a typical α+β - type titanium alloy with high strength, good toughness, and fatigue resistance. After appropriate heat treatment, its mechanical properties can be further improved. In the aerospace industry, it is often used to manufacture key parts such as aircraft structural components and engine components, and has important applications in medical devices, automotive industry, and other fields.

American standard brand

Gr1: Corresponding to TA1 in the national standard, it is a commercial pure titanium with good corrosion resistance, plasticity, and weldability, widely used in various occasions that require corrosion resistance and certain strength.

Gr2: Equivalent to TA2 in the national standard, it has slightly different strength and corrosion resistance compared to Gr1, and can meet a wider range of engineering application requirements, such as pipeline systems in chemical equipment, marine engineering and other fields.

Gr5: TC4, corresponding to the national standard, is a high-strength titanium alloy with excellent comprehensive performance. It has important applications in high-precision fields such as aerospace and national defense, such as manufacturing key components such as aircraft beams and landing gear.

Gr7: Similar to TA9 in the national standard, palladium element is added, greatly improving its corrosion resistance in reducing media. It is commonly used in equipment and pipelines with extremely high corrosion resistance requirements in industries such as chemical and food processing.

Gr12: Corresponding to TA10 in the national standard, its corrosion resistance and strength are outstanding in American standard titanium alloys, especially suitable for marine environments and some highly corrosive industrial fields, such as seawater desalination devices, pipeline systems of marine vessels, etc.
